After a 3-week vacation, I am back at my usual post -- internship at Bayside Church. I miss seeing my co-workers and my clients. This semester, I have purposely rearranged my schedule to only seeing clients on Fridays and I want to limit my clients to 5 at the most. I have started my internship at Bayside since April 2005 and the more I spend time to practice, the more I am encouraged and confirmed about my gifts in this area. It’s my great privilege to help those who are hurting and sometimes to just lend a listening ear to let my clients know that they are ok and God loves them.
However, being a full time mom, sometimes it makes me feel guilty about leaving Faith to Charles on Fridays even though I know it’s a very healthy thing for Faith and much needed break from Faith for me. I think most moms have the same feelings when they have to leave their babies to others.
But I have to say Charles is a GREAT father! It’s so interesting and amazing to see how a daughter can be so attached to her daddy. Faith loves to wake Charles up in the morning by stroking his hands and she loves to give daddy kisses (even sometimes on the mouth…:>)
After a full day of work, I got home. Faith was still 在床上賴床. But when she heard my voice, she immediately jumped up in her crib and reached out her hands for me. 看到她蘋果般的笑容和她渴望的眼神, 我整個心都融化了, 一天的辛苦也都忘記了. 我只能說: “神啊, 謝謝祢, 賜我一個如此可愛的女兒!”
當然, 小乖馬上就跟媽媽黏在一起, 最近 “騎馬” 是她的最愛. 媽媽也不吝嗇的讓女兒多騎 “媽媽” 嚕!
