昨天與我剛認識的朋友塔塔, 和老朋友Joy 都提到了這個題目 --- 神的公主… 我突然想到我所珍愛的兩本書: His Princess, Prays to My King & His Princess – Love Letters from Your King both by Sheri Rose Shepherd.
我強力推薦這兩本書給我所有的基督徒姐妹們, 這兩本書提醒我們, God is our King in shining armor and waiting to give His love to us… and we are His princesses.
底下我各從兩本書裡選一篇跟大家分享:
My King, Who Chose Me ---
It’s so hard for me to believe that you chose me to represent You to the world.
Lord, I feel so inadequate to be called your princess. I want to be what You’ve called me to be, but I don’t know how. I need You to help me let go of who I think I am and become who You say I am. I know that You’ve given me a free will and that You would never force me to live for You, yet I want to be totally devoted to You. I want to leave a legacy with my life. I want the world to know I’m Yours. I’m asking You today to anoint me and show me how to live and act as Your princess. I’m choosing to believe that You will equip me to do everything You call me to do and keep me strong enough to finish my journey of faith. Thank You for embracing me as Your daughter and for loving me with Your life.
Because You first chose me… I chose to follow You today. I love You and I feel privileged to call you the Lordof my life and my Savior.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Love, Your princess… who says “yes”
My Princess – My chosen one
I chose you before the foundation of the earth to be My princess. You are royalty even when you don’t feel like a princess. I will wait for you until you are ready to start living the amazing plans I have for you. I know you don’t know where to begin or how to become what I’ve called you to be, so let Me teach you day by day. Start by recognizing who I am: King of kings and Lord of lords, The Lover of your soul. When the two of us meet alone together everyday, I will show you how to let go of the things in your life that are holding you back from the blessings I want to give you.
Remember, My child, just as I have chosen you, I have given you a choice to represent me to the world. If you are willing, I am here to give you all you need to complete your calling.
